Program Description:

The Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate program at Georgetown University was developed to help students gain the knowledge and skills to become leaders in the real estate industry. It presents students with the foundations of real estate, such as law, accounting, finance, and markets. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to analyze and evaluate real estate projects, synthesize data and documents, identify ethical issues, and balance risks and rewards. Students could explore ways to communicate, negotiate, and present ideas and solutions that meet the needs of clients as well as project goals. The program has four concentration options: real estate development, real estate finance, construction management, and global real estate.

Required Courses for the Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate:

Students must complete 15 credits in foundation courses and six credits in core courses including a real estate capstone. The remaining credits are from concentration and elective courses; students can take up to two concentration, or choose none and take any four courses from any category to fulfill elective requirements.
