Program Description:

The Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership program offered through NCU is research based and is designed to teach students about multiple dimensions of leadership while preparing them for a wide range of advanced leadership roles. Courses explore several theories of organizational leadership and show students how to use them to assess an organization's potential for change and to implement them to create positive change and improve organizational capacity. Other areas included in the curriculum are organizational ethics, communicating and managing change, coaching and consulting, and leadership strategies for specific organizational sectors. A dissertation on an original idea related to o the field of organizational leadership is also required before the degree can be awarded.

Program Length/Total Credits Required:

This program requires the completion of at least 60 post-master's credit hours. However, students needing additional time to complete dissertation research may utilize up to 75 credits.
