Students interested in the Doctor of Ministry program should be spiritually mature, possess a strong character, and have a desire to cultivate their leadership skills. All applicants to doctoral-level programs at Regent University should have a master's degree from an accredited institution; some programs may have other requirements.
Regent University's Doctor of Ministry program gives students the opportunity to develop into theological leaders in churches and ministries. Students might gain a deeper understanding of the Bible, cultivate advanced decision-making tools, and learn discipleship skills. Coursework is intended to foster critical thinking, teach various leadership styles, and delve into philosophical models. A variety of research methods and ethical issues are also explored. Students can opt for four different concentrations: Christian Leadership & Renewal, Clinical Pastoral Education, Military Ministry, and Ministry Leadership Coaching.
