Regent's EdD with a concentration in Advanced Educational Leadership program is designed to prepare graduates to improve both individual educational institutions and the education system as a whole by examining paradigms and processes of change on both the micro and macro levels. Students can expect to learn leadership skills, strategic planning, and program evaluation. The curriculum includes courses on strategic planning and program evaluation, creating institutional change, adult learning theories, leadership theories for education, and current issues in education. The program is from a Christian perspective and is designed to help students learn how to become champions in education and in their respective communities. The program is fully online except for summer residencies lasting four days.
