Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies

A solid academic record, strong research skills, and a desire to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible are all important traits for prospective students. Applicants will also need to accept Regent's Statement of Faith. Every applicant to a graduate program at Regent University should have at least a bachelor's degree; some programs may have additional requirements.
The Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies program is designed to give students a masters-level foundation in biblical languages, interpretation, and hermeneutics. Concentration coursework delves into the unity of the Bible, Old and New Testament Theology, the Pentateuch, and the prophets of Christianity. Students also take courses in Greek and Biblical Hebrew to sharpen their understanding of scripture. Regent also allows students to customize their degree plan to include coursework in the parables, Paul's writings, and other related subjects.
