Program Description:

SNHU's online Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Advanced Counterterrorism & Homeland Security program is designed to introduce students to advanced techniques in threat assessment, information collection, and intelligence analysis. The program coursework addresses the history of global terrorism and various responses to and effects of past terrorist attacks. Students will also be able to study the political and legal implications of homeland security as well as various strategic and organizational challenges that result from current homeland security initiatives. Additional concentration courses help students develop skills in assessing viable responses and communication strategies to international or domestic threats and to gather, examine, and interpret intelligence information to address terrorism-related problems.
