Program Description:

The Master of Social Work program with a specialization in Advanced Clinical Practice is designed to give students the advanced social work skills needed to meet the needs of individuals and groups, including families. Students can participate in supervised field experiences, and will be able to choose from three curriculum tracks to degree completion. Enrollees can examine research models and intervention practices and learn how to implement those therapeutic methods in a clinical group setting or organization. Students also have the chance to focus their skill set by selecting a cluster of elective courses from areas of study like addictions treatment, crisis and trauma counseling, families and couples counseling, and medical or military social work.
