The Master of Social Work with a specialization in Social Work in Healthcare online program at Walden University allows students enrolled with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a minimum 3.0 GPA to be admitted to the advanced standing program. This allows students to be exempt from the introductory courses and start at advanced-level master's social work courses. All students are asked to participate in a social work practicum and some hybrid class sessions in their skills lab with a four day, face-to-face experience.
