Texas Southern University

Texas Southern University's College of Continuing Education offers a range of project management certificate programs. Each certificate leads to professional membership in the Project Management Institute (PMI). The number of hours and the tuition cost per hour varies by program.

Project Management Fundamentals Certificate

The Project Management Fundamentals Certificate program at Texas Southern University prepares students to lead projects for their organizations, clients and volunteer groups. Students who complete the program earn the Certified Associate in Project Management (CPAM) credential from PMI. While the program can be completed in less than one month, students with full-time work schedules can take up to six months to complete all program requirements. A total of 85 course hours are required to earn the certificate. The full program costs about $3,250.

Accelerated Project Management Masters Certificate

This certificate program is designed for professionals who want to further develop their project management skills. The program requires 210 hours of total instruction and can be completed in six months. The total cost of the program is about $9,099.

Senior Project Executive Certificate
