Truckee Meadows Community College's Vocational Programs

Truckee Meadows Community College serves more than 28,000 students each year in Reno, Nevada. The school offers more than 50 vocational training programs at five campus locations.

Associate of Applied Science in Transportation Technology

Approved by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, this program focuses on automotive technology, and prepares students for certification in Automotive Service Excellence. Enrollees can get instruction to upgrade their skills or train for technician careers at auto dealerships.

Associate Science in Engineering

Students in this program take introductory coursework, such as fluid mechanics hydraulics and hydrology, civil engineering and engineering design. Participants also take general classes in math, physics and chemistry to prepare for transfer to a 4-year institution.

Associate of Applied Science in Construction Technology: Construction Management Emphasis

Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts
