San Diego City College

The Cosmetology/Esthetician program is designed to provide entry level skills to students interested in a career in the cosmetology/barbering/esthetician profession. California State law requires that persons enrolling in Cosmetology/Barbering/Esthetician courses must be at least sixteen years of age. Students in the Cosmetology/Esthetician program will be required to comply with and maintain standards of dress code.

Associate of Science in Cosmetology

The courses in this program introduce students to the fundamentals of cosmetology. Course content includes basic procedures of draping, shampooing, conditioning, haircutting, wet hairstyling, and removing unwanted hair. Graduates are prepared for licensure through the California State Bureau of Barbering and Cosmetology.

Tramy Beauty School

The Tramy Beauty School features modern salon equipment and experienced instructors. The school simulates a real salon environment, allowing students to gain hands-on experience that can later be applied in the workplace.

Barber Program

The barber program at Tramy consists of 1,500 hours. Students are instructed on clipper cutting, razor styling, steaming facials and flat tops. The school aims to prepare students to pass the barbering licensure exam.
