Bellevue College is located less than 20 minutes east of Seattle in Bellevue, Washington. Learners can earn a translation certificate that includes courses in introduction to the translation and interpretation field, basic translation skills and advanced translation techniques. Students learn to use technology for translators and explore ethical business practices in translation. A course in terminology teaches them how to use research materials for medical, legal and other specialized fields to translate technical information correctly. Admission requirements include proficiency in at least two languages.
