Cincinnati State Technical and Community College

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is located in the city of Cincinnati and enrolls more than 10,500 students. The college awards associate's degrees and certificates in a variety of technical and academic areas. The school offers an Associate of Applied Science program in audio/visual production, which requires completion of 68 credit hours of coursework. Students take classes in audio editing and mixing, videography, digital video editing, and more. The program can be completed in six semesters.

Cleveland State University

Cleveland State University in Cleveland is a 4-year institution that enrolls more than 17,000 students. The school offers a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Interactive Media degree program through the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The program allows students to take courses in such topics as film and television production, postproduction and screenwriting. They also complete a capstone project in film production or interactive media. Students need to earn 45 major credits before graduating.

Ohio University - Main Campus

Ohio University's main campus is located in the city of Athens. This public institution serves more than 26,000 students annually. Students interested in video production can explore the school's Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in integrated media. The curriculum includes core courses such as video production fundamentals and the basics of digital media production. Students also have the opportunity to complete advanced video projects and work in video post-production. Some of the other available courses include the study of media regulations and laws, social media, and visual storytelling.
