The University of Colorado is located in Boulder, Colorado approximately 30 miles from Denver. The most popular majors are social sciences, business, management and marketing, biological sciences, journalism and psychology. The University of Colorado at Boulder offers bachelors, masters, doctorate and pre-professional degree programs.

The University of Colorado-Boulder, which is located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, is known for having one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation.

The university has earned the designation of a 'Public Ivy' and is ranked at #79 in America's Best Colleges report. In addition to its overall ranking, the University of Colorado-Boulder also ranked in the top 50 for its programs in business, entrepreneurship, engineering and aerospace.

The University of Colorado-Boulder is the flagship campus of the University of Colorado, and has five colleges and four schools, offering courses in about 150 areas of study.

In addition to offering bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees, CU-Boulder offers pre-professional degree programs in law, dentistry, medicine, veterinary science and pharmacy. The most popular are social sciences, business, management and marketing, biological sciences, journalism, and psychology.

Admissions at CU-Boulder are considered selective. The student-to-faculty ratio at CU-Boulder is 16:1. Forty-eight percent of classes have fewer than 20 students. Most of the freshmen who are admitted have a 3.5 grade point average and SAT test scores between 1,060 and 1,280.
