Wake Forest University is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, about 25 miles west of Greensboro. The most popular undergraduate majors are business, communications, political science, history and finance. Wake Forest University offers bachelors, masters and doctoral level degree programs.

Wake Forest University, located in Winston-Salem, is a private Baptist institution with a 150-year tradition of academic excellence. It is one of the most elite schools in the nation and ranks at #30 on the America's Best Colleges list. Business programs at the school are very highly regarded nationally, as are those in biology, engineering, medicine and the humanities.

Wake Forest features a small campus atmosphere with an engaged student body. Nearly three-quarters of undergraduates live in university housing, and a high percentage of students are active in at least one of the 150 organizations on campus. The school, just north of downtown Winston-Salem, also offers easy access to many cultural institutions and entertainment hot spots.

Wake Forest University offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs through seven colleges. Individual student attention is an important priority of the school with an impressive 10:1 student-faculty ratio. Popular majors among undergraduates include business, communications, political science, history and finance.

Wake Forest is home to 4,000 undergraduate students. One of the 'more selective' institutions in the nation, the school has an overall acceptance rate of 43 percent. Incoming students typically have SAT scores between 1240 and 1400.
