Butler Community College
Butler College offers a host of degrees and specialist certificates within its technology department. Aspiring Web designers can get the design and information technology skills needed to create and maintain marketable websites through Butler College's digital media or Web development programs.
Web Development Certificate
The Web development certificate is a 33-credit program that provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to create and design websites. Classes on digital branding and promotion, HTML and CSS, PHP and databases comprise the core coursework for the certificate program. The program does not include general education or elective credits.
Digital Media Specialist Certificate
The digital media specialist certificate is a 33-credit program designed to give students a basic understanding of multimedia design. Students pursuing the specialist certificate are trained in Illustrator fundamentals, digital photography, InDesign fundamentals and interactive digital signage. No general education credits are required, and students do not select electives.
Associate of Applied Science in Web Development
