Teachers and parents agree Veterans Day is important to teach, but student knowledge of Veterans Day is suffering, and they aren't celebrating the holiday. When asked to grade schools on teaching students about why we celebrate Veterans Day, Study.com's Survey Says revealed that students, parents, and teachers say there is room for improvement.

Study.com Survey Says is a monthly research project conducted by Study.com to provide regular snapshots of teachers, parents and students' perspectives on the world of learning. Study.com Survey Says Veterans Day research surveyed 206 K-12 teachers, 203 K-12 students and 157 parents from October 27-29 to gauge how schools were teaching students about important historical topics including Veterans Day.
